PIP Review Success!

Hi All,

I just wanted to say that I had my PIP review letter this morning. After the obligatory shaking and feeling sick, I opened it to find that I had kept my Standard rate for care and had been awarded the higher rate of Mobility when I had previously had the standard rate! I still feel a bit sick and numb to be honest, I have been waiting since October last year so every morning I have been dreading and anticipating the post in equal measure! The icing on the cake is that it now an ongoing award which I think is for 10 years? I hope I've got that right. The fact of not having to rehash everything and then the waiting every couple of years, is to me, a massive deal. Hopefully by tomorrow I will be able to stop feeling sick and be able to smile about this award!!
I can't thank this forum enough! All the information and help in the guides has been invaluable and easy to navigate through each point. The posts have been really helpful as often a question I have has been asked by someone so I get the information I need that way.
Once again, a huge thank you to this forum without who, I wouldn't have had this success!!

Thank you! Although I'm not convinced it would be a pretty sight if I had a glass of wine with the amount of meds I'm on As a bonus, I received a big amount of backdated PIP as my award had increased, I really wasn't expecting that!
