Applied For PIP was created by simon
I applied for pip a couple of weeks ago via the on-line form(i shall put a review up shortly)
Included additional evidence which was in pdf form all straight forward.
When would the claim start from if awarded?
Any idea on response times?
Major back issue's with spinal injections and disc tears/lumber region issues which then affects legs/ankles
Had an MRI and a full page of issue's.
Doctor very good, in 2weeks from going to see her MRI/BLOOD TESTS/BOOKED INTO HOSPITAL FOR INJECTIONES/VAIN PAIN KILLERS etc etc list goes on.

I shall post a more in-depth how to shortly with regard the on-line form
Kind Regards.

Hi Simon,
I'm not totally familiar with the online process. Previously you would need to phone DWP who would ask various questions about nationality, whether you have recently been abroad, in hospital or in prison etc. The PIP form would then be sent out. The PIP claim would start from whenever you made that phone call. If the online process includes these preliminary questions, as well as the questions about the PIP activities - what you can and can't do, then I guess that PIP would therefore start at the point you do the first questions online. Maybe someone on here can assist more?

To apply for pip via the online form you initially call DWP and go through the questions as to why your claiming along with confirming your details/bank details etc/doctor and at the end of that they send you a link to your email address to which you click on,
You register on the gov website with your email and chosen password and a current mobile number to which when you log in they send a 6-digit passcode.
You then via the link go through each section as you would the paper version, Using the guides written in the members forum here all to be fair was pretty self explanatory.
You can save the information you input at any time, log off and come back later and restart where you left off of tweak sections if your not happy, reword etc.
Virtually all sections of the form are as per the guides written in the members area on here.
Once all sections are finished you upload any evidence again straight forward,
Save it to a folder on your desktop in .jpg or pdf format when asked select the file and click on upload it.
You do this for each file not put them into a folder and upload the folder but each file on their own.
That's basically it.

Hi simon

Thank you for the information, that was very useful not only for me but other forum members. I have not done one yet so I have no idea how it works, although I have done on line appeals which is in a similar format.

Hello Simon

You said "Included additional evidence which was in pdf form all straight forward."

Could I ask please can you upload PDF files with multiple pages because I want to include all supporting evidence in one PDF file.

Thank you in advance
