Missed my PIP renewal letter

The renewal letter was sent on the 11th January and was supposed to be sent back by 11 February. The trouble is I was away in London for just over a month looking after my sister's kids as she was hospitalised with a serious bone infection

I've only just got home and found this letter

I'm so worried and scared. I haven't done anything yet and quickly rushed here for help

I did call the dwp and and explained to the lady on the phone and she told me to fill it in asap which I did

And she asked for my reason why it was late and she said she was filing a Mandatory Reconsideration since my claim had been closed an ddecision maker would look into it

Now today I was due to receive my ESA but it's not in my bank. Does PIP being stopped also affect my ESA?

Very worried

I called in the morning Tuesday and a lady said my payment was sitting there and she out me hold and said she had fixed it and would be in my account in a few hours. Now it's 02.45 Wednesday morning still nothing

I'm confused

After a second phone call today an advisor told.me she was escalating it to a particular team and she couldn't understand why it hadn't been done the day before and that they would contact me today to advise on progress

I then got an sms advising payment would be made today. But instead of the £397 I get every fortnight I only received £266. I am on cB essy btw

Even if my pip stopped affects it, would it affect it that much?
