Hi, I hope there's someone who can help me. I have received a letter today that says I will be having a video assessment on Friday morning - this follows a text message I got from the DWP last week.
I've tried to look for anyone's experience with one of these to see if there's any help or advice of things I need to be aware of, but can't find anything. I apologise if my search abilities are lacking.
Also, what is the best option to be able to record the assessment myself?
Incidentally, this is as part of a review of my current PIP entitlement, as since my original award, my condition has deteriorated significantly. My review documents were submitted in October, and this is the first I've heard from them since.
I have only heard about a couple of members having video assessments - and I couldn't find any records of anyone saying what it was like. I would read through the guide and read up on telephone assessments because the content will be the same.
I would ask for an audio recording of your assessment ~(before Friday). You can record the assessment yourself, but I would do this covertly on your phone.
I hope it goes well for you.
