My blue badge renewal unfortunately expired on the same day my PIP . 7/3/22
I heard today that my blue badge expires in December this year so it’s only for 9 months , when I queried why it was only for 9 months they said because that’s when my pip expires ??
1) I haven’t heard back from my pip renewal , can the people that issue blue badges find this information out about my PIP award before I’m told ?
2) how long is it taking to hear back from PIP
3) I’m panicking now I’ve only been given PIP for 9 months after getting it for the last 15years
In answer to your first question, the answer is no
Question 2; there is a backlog in reviews, we are unable to inform you about the time it takes as it varies from region to region, some take a few weeks others take many months.
Question 3, how do you know you have only been given 9 months if you have not yet heard from PIP?
Contact DWP and find out what is happening, inform them that not knowing is affecting your blue badge.
