PIP Assessment but didn’t fill form in

I have received two text message reminders for a PIP assessment next week. Due to my husband being unwell, I extended the deadline of the PIP form but didn’t get it back to them in time.
The assessment is scheduled for Tuesday. Is it possible I’ll be successful without the form or is this a waste of time?

Hi Emie

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is.

Welcome to Benefits and Work

I cannot answer your question as I do not have any details such as is this a new claim or a review. When you say your husband is unwell, does he have a terminal condition?

You can be successful without a form, usually you don't get an assessment without the assessors having a form. It will be interesting to see how you get on.

Please please Emie be sure to record the assessment. Without a form it is super-important that you have proof of what was/wasn't said/asked. Just don't tell them as [fancy, you should wonder why?] they don't like to be recorded. It's quite legit for your own use.
