ESA Backlogs was created by charliesolo
I live in N.Ireland and am due to be reassessed for contribution based ESA (support group) later this year. I realise ESA is an ongoing award but I’m normally reassessed every 3 years. Does anyone know if there are currently backlogs in the system here?

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is.

We have heard that there is a backlog in the system, at present they are currently dealing with new claimants, as you stated in your post your award is ongoing until you have been reassessed.

Thanks for your reply. I’m aware of backlogs in the rest of the UK but was asking specifically about N.Ireland.

I'm afraid that we don't have any specific knowledge of NI in this respect. I don't know whether any member of the forum might have some anecdotal knowledge.
