Hi Michala
You are among the many people who get penalised because they are 'articulate.' Unfortunately, many of the assessors find it impossible to take a holistic point of view and look at someone's entire record instead of individual pieces. It's really not that difficult.
I hope you win through on your appeal again.

When my daughter was at uni she got a printer, ink and paper because her disability made reading a screen very difficult. It was several years ago so I don't know if this is still available.
I get the impression that the DWP and their assessment allies don't like articulate people because they don't understand higher-level English.

Just a quick update regarding my MP, she is still awaiting a response, although the matter does keep being pushed. Other reminder was sent today following my enquiry. Once I have submitted my appeal I will put in a formal complaint.

Mollie I think you are absolutely on the nail. In my recent review form I have toned the language down and shortened the sentences. If anyone is in doubt look up 'the fog index' It was something my Dad was taught on some on the job training very many years ago and is still good.
We articulates make them feel threatened without intent or trying. Actually if one is neurodiverse it is all part of the protected characteristic. but we know that most assessors and DWP have no idea.
Best wishes,
Denby

Hello Denby
"Fog Index". new one on me, very interesting. Seems like 'Dumbing Down' for the (DWP) assessments then, that's obviously where I've been going wrong then!!!
