Hi all
Waiting for renewal forms to come through......I re joined this site today after many years.
I was looking at the mobility descriptors, not sure how I would answer these?
I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome -
I can drive but for past 4/5 years only at most a 10 mile round trip and that is only if I know the route but this leaves me very tired and in more pain, my hands and feet are my worst problem (at one stage I could not drive nor barely walk for several months)
I have now moved and know my immediate local routes
Although I could look at google maps to find a journey that I do not know I would not be able to follow it, also when my partner is driving and we are going somewhere new and have the sat nav on I still would not be able to follow that journey as by the time the sat nav has said turn left, seconds later due to brain fog I have forgotton this, the last journey we went on there were several round a bouts very close to each other and by the time the sat nav said which turning to take we were on top of the next one and even my partner got flustered about the route if I were driving I would get in a panic
How would I answer this? previously I have put I could plan a route and then explained although I could plan it I could not actually follow it and received 0 for this
Thanks in advance
