Hi NewClaim1, well done on the diary. You might find it worth keeping a separate private one where you record positives, good days etc to balance it for your own mental well being, an idea from one of the Mods a while back.
I didn't mention earlier that if given a face to face, video or phone assessment, do insist as soon as you receive the appointment that the assessor records it. You should be sent a copy. As you may have read in other topics on here, do try to do your own as well, due to the unreliability/ untrustworthiness of the assessors over this.
As Phrank noted DWP may try to make out it's not usable, but you can transcribe your own recording yourself if necessary to refute any lies the assessor may put in their report [that PA4 ]. We did and won.
Best wishes,
Denby

Hi NewClaim1,
As DWP appointee you would be responsible for forms etc and dealing with claims on your daughter's behalf. You would have a legal right to insist that DWP deal with you. It is likely that DWP will only deal with you.
Of course being an Appointee is open to abuse. DWP will want to interview you to ensure there is no coercion or other safe guarding issue. (Think eg abusive controlling husband who wants wife's PIP solely for himself!)
It doesn't matter if you daughter has some better days, if on the whole she would find it too difficult to deal with.
Apart from Housing Benefit it is likely that by becoming a PIP Appointee you will be Appointee for all benefits, if this is required.
Please note that as Appointee you have a duty to fill in the forms correctly and deal with paperwork in a timely fashion. If you don't do this then your daughter may not receive benefit, you may be liable personally if you make a false statement as an Appointee.
I don't know whether Appointee interviews are done face to face at present
I'm pleased thst you are continuing with the claim, and hope that you succeed.
