Good evening please advise me, I returned my review form registered to PIP in November 21. When I called them in January 22 they said it was in a pile to be looked at. But until now I still haven’t received a decision or assessment is it normal for someone to wait this long is it a good sign Thank you
Unfortunately it is all too common that PIP reviews are taking a very long time. I”ve certainly heard examples of 6 months plus.
It would do no harm to call the DWP again and ask for an update.
If you are currently in receipt of PIP they should continue to pay you at the current rate until they have completed the review.
If you are not currenlly receiving PIP and are awarded PIP then the payments will be backdated to the date of your application. If you are currently in receipt of PIP and the review awards a larger payment the difference should also be backdated
I hope this helps
Regards Pete
