im getting worried about being transferred to UC. Currently I am on ESA (support), and have been for many years. When i got the assessment at the time i was told it was for 3 years. But they never contacted me after 3 years and they still pay me. I've heard that when you get transferred to UC (and you are on ESA support) they are supposed to transfer you without the need for sicklines. But my worry is that since my award period was up years ago will i have to get sick lines and go through an assessment to get on UC
There are many people who have not had their expected review after three years and this is because the DWP has a backlog of new claims to deal with. I wouldn't worry about being moved across to UC at this time.
