Hello there. I was awarded PIP for 2 years, with a review at 1 year. My 'one year mark' is in July. I am wondering: - Do reviews happen on time or might I be left hanging with no one contacting me? - If no one contacts me, should I contact PIP and remind them? Or do I just wait? - Most importantly, if no one contacts me for some time, am I entitled to the money that will continue to enter my account? Or do I have keep that aside in case I fail my review - ie, could I be asked to pay it back? This would be a big financial ask for me, so I need to prepare if it's possible. I am not expecting to fail my review, but the mere possibility is something I want to be financially prepared for if possible.
Context: I live in Scotland so I presume my PIP will be transferring to the new Scottish equivalent at some point this year. But I don't know when that would be or how that would happen.
It is difficult to say in the current times when exactly your review form will be sent out, but if you were unsuccessful and lost your award, the money would stop at the point of the decision letter. You don't need to keep any money by.
