ESA delayed payments after moving was created by mrbluesky57
Since moving on 15th February. My daughter has had to constantly chase up my fortnightly payment. I am in receipt of ESA Contribution based and in the support group. My daughter is constantly being told this is a clerical problem. I am still living in the same area.
Is this unusual and are others in the same position. When I receive a payment it is usually a fast payment under JSA. Appreciate your advice and opinion. Thank you.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Moving house should not have had an impact on your receipt of benefits - and they have admitted this is a clerical error. My question to them would be when can you expect this to be put right. You don't need the stress of having to constantly chase it up.

Thank you BIS, much appreciated. My daughter thinks the same. Unfortunately with me creates alot of stress. Apparently my daughter said the helpful lady who noticed since last call with her had not been dealt with. She has escalated the case/input. See what happens if I receive over due payment on Monday. Even my daughter is fed up with a basic local move of address. Thank you once again for your advice. Roll on 66 hopefully. Site has always been a great help. Take chare.
