TRIBUNAL OUTCOME REPORTS was created by Aftereight30
Can any one tell me how to obtain a copy of the Tribunal outcome made in my favour in 2018. ? Will the DWP have a copy the only thing I got from the tribunal was what activities they had awarded not not WHY as my review is ongoing I would like to be prepared if the DWP rejects my review as expected as they have very very limited knowledge of my disability and impacts despite lengthy submissions in original documentation and assistance from the Brain Charity.

Hi Neil
You are out of time,
if you want a copy of what was said at a tribunal you need to request a Statement of Reason as to why your Tribunal made the decision it did, you have one month from the decision date to make the request.

Hi Neil
Whilst DWP may have a copy, I don't think it would hurt to send in a copy to remind them!
If you need a copy of the 2018 tribunal decision, you might be able to get a copy by writing in to HMCTS - give your full name, NI number and tribunal reference number if known, together with the hearing date, and ask for a copy of the decision.
Tribunal decision notices will normally indicate the points awarded and then have a brief paragraph saying something like 'the appellant is limited/so limited by his disability that he is awarded standard/enhanced rate Daily Living/Mobility. The tribunal relied on the oral evidence of the claimant and his medical evidence'.
That is all that is likely to have been said on the notice.
The tribunal will have discussed the evidence and relevant law, and thus will be recorded by the Judge in his notes. However if you want the full written reasons you have to ask for them within 1 month. You won't be able to obtain these now. Partly because it is too late, and partly because after this amount of time it is likely that the hearing papers will have been routinely destroyed and therefore won't be available.
If you have a copy if the decision notice, you can refer DWP to this. You could say eg in 2018, the tribunal accepted that I need help to get in/ out of the bath and awarded me e points. I remain unable to get in/out of the bath, due to X ...,
Alternatively you might say 'although the 2018 tribunal awarded 2 pts for an aid/appliance to help prepare a cooked meal, I now need physical help as I can no longer peel and chop vegetables, or grip a knife due to arthritis on both hands and arms etc...'
I hope this helps.

Not a direct answer I know, but at my last PIP review, I mentioned the points awarded and award dates on each relevant section of the form. I also gave a ‘history’ of past awards of PIP/DLA/ESA. It shows longevity if nothing else, and does help bolster your arguments. *do not expect them to access anything already on their systems*
