PIP review- decision makers access to previous points was created by ela67
Hello, I'm currently filling in my son's PIP renewal form. When looking at this does the decision maker have access to or consider not just the previous assessor's report, but also any changes in regards to MR or tribunal decisions?. My son was originally awarded no points for mobility/moving around which we took to tribunal. The DWP cancelled the appeal beforehand and awarded him enhanced rate. I'm unsure as to whether the decision maker will be able to see this or just the original zero points on the assessors report. Perhaps it's not even relevant in the review process.
Thank you

Hi Ela67
They should be able to see the previous notes, however, I would always remind them what happened. You can do this by including a copy of the judgement, or you can just write in the relevant questions that nothing has changed or has deteriorated since the tribunal (date) when his difficulties (describe) were recognised with an enhanced award. Never assume that they will have read previous information.

I put the points given and award dates on each descriptor section of my form.
Best to be really clear.
