Confused and too ill to work it out myself, sorry. was created by Judy
I get housing benefit and council tax benefit, I'm on the full disability components of PIP and ESA. My ESA is both contribution and income (I think it's called) anyway I get both components of that.
My question is, I have no idea what help for bills I am going to get from these latest bill helper handouts to expect. Could someone please work it out for me, so sorry to ask.

Hi Judy
I'm sorry, but your question is outside the remit of this forum and we don't have full information on this. You can either look at the other threads on this matter and see if someone is in the same position as you, wait and see or contact a welfare advisor in your area who can look at all your different benefits. advicelocal.uk/

If you live alone, you should get £650 (means tested benefit ESA(IR) + £400 (‘everyone’ which goes to your energy provider) + £150 (disability payment as you receive PIP). That’s my reading of things anyway. See Gary’s link to double check… The Legislation is yet to be published (legal document).
