Appeal Tribunals - current waiting time?

Hello

Does anyone have up-to-date information about the time span between registering for your PIP appeal and the appeal date?

My appeal was registered on 11th April 2022.

In case there is a post-code lottery element to your answer, I am in the South East, but attending my appeal over video, so not sure if my location is relevant in this instance - I imagine it will still be dealt with by my regional team, even though remote?

Thanks

Raph

Hi Raph

We used to say about 10 months, but some members have reported much shorter waiting times eg 4 months, but in reality, it is impossible for us to say with any accuracy.

I would contact the Tribunals Service in your area and ask them about the expected waiting times.

It varies wildly, I waited for the best part of 2 and a half years prior to covid.
