My PIP award was due to end last year but was extended until end of June 22 due to covid. I was sent a review form last August which I completed and sent back. I haven't received any news from the DWP & was wondering if I should contact them or wait?
My circumstances have changed and my health has worsened so I believe that my award for the daily component should go up to enhanced from standard (already get enhanced for mobility). Last time I wasn't awarded anything from the DWP and had to go to tribunal to get my current award. So I'm not holding out my hopes.
If I don't get the increased rate should I ask for a MR? Will i get it backdated to August? I'm not completely sure how the appeal would work for a review so any advice will be helpful.
