Telephone call out of the blue was created by Mossy
I applied for a renewal of my pip back in a February and just received a phone call out of the blue from re the form
It completely threw me and I asked them to
ring back tomorrow
Are they doing this now ?

It's difficult to say, as you didn't find out why they were phoning - I'm not surprised and you were right to give yourself thinking space. However, I can't tell you whether they are phoning to query something on your form, suddenly going to offer you an assessment or talk about something else. When they phone back - do not let them push you into having an assessment without the required 7 days notice.

Sorry they did tell me why they rang
They said they just needed to clarify some points on the form as some of the things I had put down were contradictory
They said I had quoted aids I had for the kitchen eg perching stool but didn’t know how I would manage to use the perching stool as my back was so bad ?
Anyway
They are ringing back tomorrow

hi
i applied for my review in march, last week they phoned out of the blue, my daughter answered it, they asked about the disabled fork and spoon which i put on the form also about the 2 earing aids i now wear (i wasnt wearing them on my last review in 2019) ,then said i would keep my award for a ongoing period.
i hope yours is similar
