New diagnosis was created by karenwb9
Hi all,
Thanks to all the help and support i have received from benefits and work since 2008 i have managed to gradually claim enhanced pip for both mobility and care.
I was diagnosed with early stage endometrial cancer in feb. Which wasn’t included in the form of “has anything changed” i had my hysterectomy on Thursday this week and will know more in 3 to 4 weeks. Do i need to inform the DWP of this diagnosis due to it being a change even though i am in receipt of enhanced rate for both components without them knowing my current conditioncan someone please advise.?

Hi Karen,
I think I just answered your question in another post.
The DWP require you to report any change whether for the better or the worse so I would consider you should report it.
Regards
Pete

Hi Karen
Gordon has already answered your question in your previous post.
As your condition has deteriorated and you are already on the enhanced for both components of PIP, you do not need to do anything, you only need to inform the DWP if your condition improves.
