So worried Tribunal was created by lauren
Hi, I have just managed to send in my online Tribunal Appeal. It wasnt easy but I think I have made a better job of it than I did on my MR! I think this is serious though, when I read through my MR decision letter I realised that they had reassessed an activity I hadnt asked them to and not awarded me the marks accordingly, quite rightly.
I remember covering a few areas in the MR but the main one I concentrated wasnt re assessed at all.Is this normal practice? Obviously I have asked for the original activity to be looked at again in the tribunal.
But could I be penalised for not discussing the activities that were assessed in the MR decision?
Hope this makes sense
Thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Lauren
Congratulations for getting in your appeal. With regard to your question - when you submit your MR - they look at the entire claim and not just the issues that you raised. When you receive the answer many people wonder why they haven't commented on the specific issues highlighted by the claimant - unfortunately this is frustrating and quite common.
In your appeal, you are trying to tackle why you didn't get the award you hoped for - which is not just the MR, but your original claim. If you think there is anything you need to add to your evidence you can still do so. If the panel thinks there is anything missing they will ask you at the appeal. No one expects your appeal to be 'perfect'

Get someone to go with you, it is ridiculously stressful.
