Dwp letter change of circumstances was created by charchar12
I sent my change of circumstances off in March as conditions worsened and new conditions have progressed - award wasn’t due until next year.
I have posted previously about having an unexpected phone call from a mobile claiming to be a capital assessor, polite and spoke to me on 2 occasions asking some of the point scoring criteria questions.
I have heard nothing from dwp since I sent my form in originally - not even a receipt text.
Fast forward to last week, had a letter saying they have everything they need and will be in touch soon.?
Is this good or bad?
Thanks guys

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi charchar12
When the DWP say that they have everything they need, it means they have enough information to make a decision. You can't infer one way or another what that decision will be. Hopefully, you should hear soon.

Thank you. Do you know what length of time it takes from them sending the letter saying they have all the information they need - to making the decision.? Thanks

Hi charchar12
Unfortunately not, before Covid we could give a reasonable guess, but now there is a large backlog and we are hearing mixed messages depending on where you live across the region.
I would only be guessing by saying 8 weeks.
