PIP Appeal was created by Joan
Hi,
I have followed the model submissions and have appealed the decision not to award me any points for PIP. Can anyone please advise if I am allowed to send in further medical evidence as I now have an appointment with my consultant and a date for further x rays and tests. Thank you Joan.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Joan
Yes you can send in additional supporting letters, don't send originals, send the supporting documents to HMCTS not the DWP, make sure you add your name and reference number and send by recorded delivery.
HMCTS will send you a copy of what you sent with page numbering on, they will also send a copy to the DWP.

Just to add to Gary's excellent advice.
Whilst claimants can submit new evidence, that evidence must make it clear that it would have applied on the date of the Decision, otherwise, you risk it being excluded from the panel's deliberations.
