hi my pip was due to run out last march i filled in the forms sent them back then was given an extension till this December i put it to the back of my mind then today got a letter expecting it to be a date for a assessment but i am amazed i have been awarded the same as last time when i had a face to face assessment low rate care high rate mobility they have awarded me on my last face to face and my recent form i was last time given pip for 3 years have been awarded pip until July 25 the only confusing thing is it says i can still award you the rates and both elements says i can award you from 21 July 2024 to 25 July 2025 i presume it was an error and it should have been from 24 July 2022 to 25 July 2025 i hope this will be the case with lots of other people and dont have to suffer the worry of a face to face
We have heard recently from a small number of members who are being awarded the same award without a telephone or face to face assessment. Glad to hear you have had a positive result.
