Missing carers allowance.

Hi, firstly please forgive me if I have posted this on the incorrect platform, it’s my one and only time using a forum.
My husband receives carers allowance for me and has done for many years.we are in receipt of UC and he has taken a little PT job of 8 hours a week split over 2 days.
Carers Allowance stopped payments earlier in the year, accumulating almost £900 with phone calls back and forth. That payment was made, no communication whether he’d be paid weekly or monthly and they stopped again! We haven’t had a payment since early June without any communication. We have called every week since, bought a printer to provide proof of wages and sent them off weeks ago. Our last call the young lady didn’t know what to say to us. She refused to put us through to someone who could deal with our problem.
I am waiting for my PIP review since February and now this.
Has anyone else had a problem with carers and if so, how do you get an answer? Nobody there seems to want to help. Our only option is for my husband to give up his PT job. I’ve heard Therese Coffey has passed a motion to place more people like carers back into work.

Thank you so much for replying. It’s been another week since we called them and still nothing. All the time we are accumulating more weeks without the much needed allowance. The knock on effect to other bills, robbing Peter to pay Paul, is enormous now. I will contact my MP.
