Hello,

I contacted DWP to ask if they received my review form and they confirmed they have.

They also confirmed that they received all the extra supporting evidence too.

I provided a substantial amount, including a copy of my previous PA3 report.

Now its a very anxious wait.

Thank you for advice.

Hi,

I contacted Independent Assessment Services to find out if my file has been passed over to them and they told me that they do not have my file.

I was wondering if anyone knows when you send in your PIP review form and supporting evidence, how quickly do DWP send your file over to IAS ?

The DWP confirmed that they received my PIP review form and supporting evidence about one month and one week ago.

Thanks.

Hi Taylor

I can't tell you if and when they will send your documents to IAS. The DWP are battling a backlog, so it could be any time. I'm sorry you just have to wait.

Hello Benefits and Work,

I hope the moderators and staff have had a well deserved good rest.

I have recently heard from the DWP, my PIP award remains the same as before, enhanced rates for both daily living and mobility, awarded until 2027.

The decision letter states "The information shows your needs are continuing" I sent in lots of evidence with my review form.

The decision letter also states "This information is the best available and enough to decide how much help you need without a consultation"

I wanted to ask does this mean that there will be no PA3 to ask for ?

Thank you

First of all, congratulations on the award.

It sounds like the Decision was made by the DWP without referral to one of the Assessment Providers for review. My understanding, recently revised, is that your papers would still have been reviewed by AP staff, these are not the normal staff doing assessments daily and may be based in the DWP's offices.

Some form of report must have been produced but it will not be a PA3 and based on comments by other members, appears to be impossible to request a copy.

I would still try asking for a PA3 but don't hold your breath.
