Pip review still ongoing since July 21 was created by Myluckycharm
Previously posted about pip review July 21 , I did contact pip in august 22 to be told yet again a back log , we will contact you soon by appointment it ruined my holiday as I was worried I would miss my appointment
Ive had no phone call no letters for appointment only 2 messages ‘ we still have your pip form that was July 22 yet my payment is still being paid
Cant believe I’ve waited 14 months they say my review is complex with a lot of health problems from arthritis fibromyalgia etc , I did contact pip with a change in circumstances ie worsen health problems with surgery involved so am hoping maybe it’s that is what the delay is.
Surely others must be waiting and not just myself ?

Hi Myluckycharm, there is a huge backlog and this sounds perfectly normal.
I just went through all this year waiting after two extensions due to covid, but I didn't add new circumstances. That definitely sounds why they would need more time too. Mines and a friends renewals were renewed without phone or face to face medicals when we expected to be called for them again. We are in Scotland though, where the new adult disability benefit has started so could be that or could be that they were trying to get their lists down.
I too have complex problems with new additions yearly.
It is a worry but at least you are being paid. Just phone monthly to get updates but I think it shouldn't be too much longer before you get answers.
Good luck

Thank you greekqueen , I just hope I don’t have a telephone assessment as would just clam up with nerves , and wouldn’t be able to think straight , surely they have all the information from my gp and hospital notes.
The first assessment was a face to face visit , was so nerve wracking and stressed out after.
I’ve phoned in numerous times and a wait time of over 45 minutes.
It is a very big worry and a huge thank you for replying.
