PIP Review was created by routemaster
I've received my PIP renewal form and i'm confused on a few issues.Firstly it says don't send in any supporting letter from your GP.It also says don't send in any info you've already sent. And finally it says don't send in any letters for medical appointments.Would it therefore be enough to send in my prescription sheet which hasn't changed since my last assessment? And a printout from my GP of my health record since i was last assesssed ? As well as evidence from friends and family members? I'd be grateful for your advice.Thanks.

Hi routemaster
I would ignore what DWP says not to send in. You need to treat the review as if it was a new claim, send in any supporting evidence that will help with your claim, always send in the most recent, if you have lots of supporting letters for the same condition I usually send the most recent and the earliest which shows that the condition is ongoing.
Remember to send photo copies of the supporting documents as you will not get the original ones back and number each supporting document and extra page you may submit.
It is perfectly OK for you to type your answers and attach them as extra pages to the form, just make sure that each page has your full name and NIN at the top and that they are numbered, we recommend "page X of Y" so that it is easy to see if pages are missing. Make sure you clearly mark on the form where your answers are and on the relevant page that you are answering question X.
I would not split your answers across the form and attached pages, do one or the other for each activity (not question), splitting it risks the second part of your answer not being read.
Attach the pages to the back of the form using a staple or make a hole in the top left corner and use a treasury tag, string or ribbon to the form. The pages need to be easily detached so that they can be scanned by the DWP.
Remember to return the form and supporting documents by recorded delivery.

Hi Ben
Call PIP helpline 0800 121 4433, explain you current circumstances and ask for an extension.
You need to ask before the deadline to return your form.
Best time to try and phone is first thing in the morning, as waiting times are much lower, around 15 minutes.

Hello, my B/F has his PI review form to be back by 3 November as well but he got cut off when he tried to ask for an extension. We will not be ready to post before 3rd November as I have to do it and I'm not well either.
Could I ask is the new updated 22 September guide to filling in the review form any different to the previous one?
I last filled one in November 2019 and added loads of extra pages. Does the form itself have smaller boxes. Am in a bit of a state about all of this. Thanks
