face to face PIP review consultation was created by Realmadrid
Hi I was just wondering how I would ask the DWP if it would be possible for a home assessment I've suffer from a neurological condition and a mental health disorder which requires me to use a high flow oxygen machine several times a day and night I'm unable to go to the assessment centre which is not in my home town I'm worried and anxious if I don't attend my benefits will be stopped

Hi Realmadrid
I don't think the DWP have resumed home visits, and only a handful are being conducted face-to-face at an assessment centre. It is far more likely you will be sent an appointment for a telephone or video assessment.
You can put on your form (or on an extra piece of paper) a request for a telephone assessment. If by some remote chance they send you an appointment for an assessment centre, you explain about your high-flow oxygen machine and ask them to change it. If they refuse, you make a second request and ask them to reconsider.

Hi BIS
One of my clients had a home visit by a DWP official last week, the first one I am aware of since covid-19 lockdown.

Hi Realmadrid
I personally would send DWP a copy of each of your Tribunal decision letters.
Lets hope everything goes your way.

Hi Realmadrid, you remind me of a friend, they have won multiple tribunals. They are convinced that people who 'beat' the DWP repeatedly are singled out for the wrong kind of, er, 'special' attention subsequently. Based on observation you are more evidence this could be a policy. I'd be copying in your MP too in your response to them.
Very best wishes,
Denby
