Hi wonder if anyone can help, been trying to get through to DWP no luck and no reply to letter I sent. The query is that I am 59 but my husband just turned 66 and is now getting his pension, the ESA is in my name so I assume that will change but I cannot find out what I need to do. Can anyone advise? Thanks Angela
Thank you for your question, unfortunately cannot give you an answer as you have not said what type of ESA you were claiming. I would assume that you are in receipt of IR ESA but that is only a guess.
I would contact your local Welfare Rights Organisation who can take all your circumstances into consideration to give you an accurate answer; you can find your local Welfare Rights Organisation to help you with advice by clicking on the link below and putting in your post code, it will then come up with a MAP with a list of agencies. advicelocal.uk
