Can some please help ? was created by Positivity2016
I've just recieved an email from motarbility saying "Titled" : "Your Payment Receipt" And it says : " We’re pleased to confirm we’ve made an Early Good Condition Bonus payment. This will be available in your bank account in the next 5 working days" Does this mean my pip review has gone through and I've lost my motarbility car ? , Because when I changed the car before , I recieved a "good condition bonus payment" when I handed back the car I was exchanging My heart is racing because this is the last thing I need with everything going on , I've only had a text message from the DWP on the 24th October "we have recieved your review form etc etc" Has anyone else had this ? Any help would be helpful at the moment Thank you

Hi Positivity2016
The only way you will find out what it means - is first to contact the DWP and find out if your review has been decided and then contact Motability. I would be very surprised if they have made a decision from the 24th October - that would be something of a record. However, it's not impossible, but they are the only ones who can tell you.

I would also check in case that email is a scam. Do you have any separate paperwork with the phone number for Motability - I would call them using a number you know is correct and ask them.

Hi, just a thought. Be careful this isn't a scam. Hopefully the email is not asking you to give any bank details.
It seems strange they would be offering a good condition bonus before first seeing the car and assessing it's condition.
I hope all works out for you, best wishes

Phone Motability and ask them as I have read on another site something about money being given early to help with the cost of living. I am sure they will explain it.

Hi, we have also had a message from Motability promising an early good condition bonus. So it's not just you. I think we had it by email and letter, I don't have texts from them. They said if we had an online account where they had our bank details they could transfer it swiftly but would be sending out cheques later to those who don't have an online account -we don't. The cheque has not come yet but I don't personally think you need to worry about your PIP, this is purely a Motability thing. Our car is due back about 5 weeks into 2023. FYI the benefit in our case is lifetime DLA as the recipient is in the born-before 1948 group.
Hope this provides some reassurance. Just call Motability on the number you have for them.
