Pip award was created by Springlylola
Hello,
So I have been recently been awarded pip for mobility. However during my assessment they asked me when was the last time I worked and mistakenly I gave them the wrong year. I had worked recently previously but only for a week due to health issues so completely forgot I had even taken on a job.
Is it worth me ringing pip up to inform them of my mistake? I am afraid I'll lose my award but I don't want to get into any legal trouble. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Springlylola
Welcome to the forum.
You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum
The first thing I would do is contact PIP and ask for a copy of the assessors report (PA4), once you get the report check the report to see if it is mentioned, if it is, in what context?
If it is a glaring error, then contact DWP and point out the error that you have read in the PA4.

Hello,
So I actually called them this morning without having received the pa4 as I was so worried I would get into trouble but the person I spoke to said it's fine as you can work and claim pip but he said he would leave a note on their system anyway.
Thanks for your advice.
