Gordon and Gary thank you that clears it up, im unfortunately overthinking again, (nerves) i had not had any letters for UC migration but am preparing myself for when it does happen. If possible don't want to have to research/find out the situation when a letter arrives. I am certain you understand worry/stress etc can cause one not to focus clearly. So, i am preparing well in advance.
Thanks again for your very clear and professional help.
Sincerely
Clearwater.

Unfortunately, the transitional payment will shrink over time as they increase UC in line with inflation each year. It's sickening, as it means we will have less and less money to live on each year as prices go up.

I have been advised that if you have a 'Care Package' with Social Services with a minimum Care Component of at least 1 hour per week, then you cannot be forced to migrate from ESA to UC. I am working with Leicester County Council on getting a small care package in place, so that if managed migration comes over the horizon, I will be protected from forced migration.

Hi The Considered Man
Welcome to the forum.
You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum
I do not think you are correct, I work within Blaby DC the care package has to be greater than one hour a week, if someone lives in supported accommodation.
