Hi , I’m hoping someone can help me. I’ve had to stop taking the medication I was on as it was having a bad effect on my heart rhythm. I’m not currently taking any prescribed medication although I have been some option which I’ve not taken up on. Will this have a negative impact on my renewal process? Many thanks
Assessors can be very funny about medication, assuming that people are not that 'ill or disabled if they are not taking medication or they are only taking small amounts. If you have stopped taking medication, you need to explain why and what impact it has had on you not taking it. Depending on what you write on the review form, you may find at an assessment that someone questions if they are any alternatives. Be ready with an answer.
