Hi Gary

I am in the full support group which must be why it has continued, will I remain on this Indefinitely if any UC is awarded? Or will they pull the rug on me once I agree to claim also will I need another medical if I agree to their commitments next week ?
Woman at JC didn’t know her stuff and I have no trust in the providers this has come to light after HMRC chasing me for money getting really overwhelmed with it.

Thank you Karen

Hi Kazyjacko

Your post is slightly confusing, if you are in the support group then you do not need to be looking for work.

You will stay in the support group until you are reassessed and either found fit for work or placed in the LCW group. If you are placed in the support/LCWRA group then your claim will continue until you are next reassessed.

As you are in the support group then you should be placed in * Group 1. No work related requirements

Missed two calls yesterday got journal notes saying there’s nothing to claim as I’m on esa in support group which is less than UC, I don’t know all the figures sorry, i asked why the sites and citizens advice are telling me there is £180 a month difference couldn’t answer said they shouldn’t be claimed she’d confirmed this with 3 members of staff, I then spent hour and half on chat with cab lady was very helpful and confirmed they are correct and I should complain and bring up the last claim which they told me to close. Not sure I can go through the process I’m frazzled now

Hi Kazyjacko

We cannot give you an answer as we do not have all the facts such as are youin receipt of PIP, do you live on your own. Citizen Advice should have all the facts about you, to give you accurate advice.

We can only give information on what we are told, as fellow moderators have stated in the past, we can only give information not advice, as we do not know all the facts.

If you are on ESA and in the support group and not claiming PIP, depending on their circumstances most claimants would be better off claiming UC, this is one of the reasons why the Government put back moving claimants from ESA to UC, it would cost more money.

I’m on new style esa support group, high daily living pip and low mobility live alone no housing costs no kids. My claim is in I’ll wait for their response or journal message then take it up with cab.
