I have received an update that I am to be paid 24/12 £179 which is what CAB said and the calculators online, my circumstances have not changed in 3 years from when I applied Nov 2020 and the JC women are giving out incorrect information two years. Furious at Them. I’ve lodged a complaint.
Unsure how to go about any reclaim if at all possible through incorrect information and being asked to withdraw my claim currently on hold 45 mins to CAB

You need to seek specialist advice for compensation and an anytime review.
Apart from Citizen Advice, there are other Welfare Rights organisation that may be able to help you; you can find your local Welfare Rights Organisation to help you with advice by clicking on the link below and putting in your post code, it will then come up with a MAP with a list of agencies. advicelocal.uk or lawcentres.org

Hi Gary
My complaint is going through DWP, I had a interview of questions over the phone from a specialist team member at the JC re happenings in both claims and they are waiting to interview their staff over the claims and I was informed last week waiting their return from leave. CAB are wanting to see me once I’ve received a response.

Hi Gary
Success I received a payment and letter apologising and explaining the payment received of £5900 for two years UC including COL pmnts. I am able to complain higher but stress levels aren’t good at the moment so undecided at the moment.

That really is fantastic news, congratulations and well done. You can now chill out before deciding whether or not to take your complaint higher, you never know you may get some compensation for the stress they put you through or better still training event put on for workers so that it does not happen to other claimants.
I am tagging my reply so that the back office also get to read your encouraging post.
