PIP REVIEW HELP needed was created by Keeley
Hi Everyone
I’m a bit confused with my PIP review. I completed and sent in the form last July. I’ve had three text messages saying they are still dealing with my review. One was sent last September, the second was February this year and the third was August this year.
I can’t apply for my bus pass or blue mobility card as I don’t have a letter of reward so I’ve been over a year without these valued cards.
I live in Scotland and don’t even know who I’m dealing with, the DWP or ADP .
Can anyone help ? I don’t know what’s happening. I still receive my PIP as they said it would continue until they have made a decision with the review.
I’m beginning to feel very stressed out.
Thank you

Hi Keeley

Welcome to the forum.

You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum

I've moved your post to its own topic, we ask members not to post their questions in other member's topics as it can lead to the wrong advice being given or taken.

You need to contact your local Welfare Rights Organisation: advicelocal.uk

We have had a number of posts this week with a similar theme.

Hello Keeley

May I suggest that you make contact with the issuing authorities and make them aware that both your Blue Badge and Bus Pass renewals have been directly impacted by the continuing backlog of applications and reviews at the DWP. I think that the issuing authorities must be aware by now as this is an ongoing problem for claimants, perhaps provide confirmation of your 'PIP Review application' submission as evidence. I think it would be unreasonable to think that the issuing authorities would not consider your request, given the circumstances. Good luck.
