Telephone PIP INTERVIEW on SUNDAY to a person that cannot use reliably a phone! was created by pahatouridis
My wife is claiming enhanced mobility and enhanced living allowance since 2016 following a succesful appeal in Court .At that time another dishonest independant ''examiner'' had twisted reality he faced examining physically my wife in my presence with a cynical motivation to get his bonus from DWP for kicking another sick person out of their lawfull entitlement .During that interview blatanly turned the black to whiteand via versa.Mantatory reconsideration felt on deaf's ears and we had to appeal and finally on the appeal it took only 5 minutes for the Court to decide PIP enhanced on both for my wife ..After that DWP sent the papers for renewal the PIP claim in June 2021 .Indeed I helped her to prepare her papers and submitted them on JULY 2021 together with doctors letters supporting her case .
Since submission of her papers 18+months passed without anyone to have a look at them .
A week ago a letter came stating that they are from Independant assessment services and they want to have a Telephone consultation with my wife on Sunday morning, 19 MONTHS AFTER SUBMISSION OF THE PAPERS !!!!!
This came as a dual surprise to me .
FIRSTLY as my wife stated in her PIP papers the reasons that SHE CANNOT TALK RELIABLY OVER THE PHONE saying'between others in descriptor Q3.7 (SPEAKING TO PEOPLE,HEARING AND UNDERSTANDING WHAT THEY SAY AND BEING UNDERSTOOD)''''Due to my medication and illnesses my vocabulary suffered and my ability to spell or to finish a complete sentence at times and particularly when I am exhausted. These symptoms can be accelerated or exacerbated from my anxiety, apnoea, depression and the fact that I can pass easy the threshold of my physical endurance due to fatigue which leaves me exhausted with a disabling tiredness, lacking concentration, forgetful and stressed. This disabling tiredness last then for long time or keeps coming back even after a little effort like a small walk or exercise.
Usually I am able communicating in the morning when I wake up most of the days but it is getting worse as the time passes and usually by early afternoon I start having problems with my communication. As at that stage of disabling tiredness although I can reliably understand and talk simple phrases like ‘’How are you?’’ ‘’Did you had a good day?’’ or ‘’Do you want a cup of tea ?’’,I would be very confused ,stressed ,lacking concentration, forgetful and unable reliably to understand or convey complicate sentences like ‘’Yes I would like a very hot cup of tea. With plenty of milk and 2 teaspoonfuls of sugar in the blue big mag you have in upper draw in the cupboard’’ or ‘’Before you leave your school son make sure you collect all your gym clothes from the cabinet and on your way home go to Morrisons to get a box of Cereals and a small bottle of full fat milk ’’.
For these reasons I try to initiate contact with people when I feel myself that I am ready to do so and not the other way around for people contacting me when they want to do so.
For the same reasons I prefer also not to talk important things over the phone as I can be easily confused or forget. '''
Secondly I HAVE NO TRUST to the system anymore and I believe that probably no one is going to call in time and on a Sunday their Customer Service Center in NOT in opening hours . So that the so called ''Heath Professional'' can simply say I phoned her and she did not answered ,case closed ,loose all entitlement ..
My question is what can I do to avoid if possible all together that telephone interview being willing to attend physically if possible or to be assessed based on my submitted evidence .And also to ask my interview to be recorded by them and to take place any other time available to them but always during the opening hours of their Customer Service Center? What reasons can I say for that to be accepted ?
Thank you ,your help is needed and appreciated .

To be clear, whatever you might have heard or believe, assessors do not receive a bonus for failing claimant assessments!
You can move the appointment once but your wife will have to "attend" any second appointment made, failing to do so will result in her file being returned to the DWP and there is a risk of her claim being closed.
Contact the Assessment Provider on your wife's behalf, she will need to be present in case they require her permission to talk to you. Explain her problems with communication and ask whether a Paper based review can be done. if the response is negative, try contacting the DWP for support.
Based on the results of this call you can take a view about cancelling the existing appointment to gain more time
