Question. I'm already on pip on enhanced rate for both mobility and daily living but I've just been diagnosed with type2 diabetes, how will this affect my pip award?
Hi Colin, Unless your diabetes improves your other conditions, which I doubt very much will be the case, there is no need to report your new diagnosis. You are on the highest possible level of PIP, so you can not achieve any more benefit. You won't need to report this, but di make sure you include the details and the effects of your diabetes when you next fill out a renewal form.
