PIP Review was created by Jonte
I posted my pip review form last week. I get standard of both parts and this time round I added changes in certain parts which I am going through in my daily living and mobility. I wanted to know if it helps that my daughter did a letter for me to add to the form covering all that I am experiencing health wise in my daily living and my mobility. And how long do I now wait for assessment. Also I got a letter about my ESA which is being reduced. It says From 10th Apr the rates of Social Security benefits will change and from 11th Apr ESA will be £225.45 because of this change. And from 11th July ESA will be £149.05 because of a change in money coming in. This sounds silly but I don't know what this means "A change of money coming in". Can someone help?

Hi Jonte

How much weight assessors put on relative's letters it is difficult to tell, but if you have them available we would always tell you to include them.

We can't give you any timescale for how long you will have to wait for an assessment. It could be as little as eight weeks or it could be much longer.

Regarding your ESA you will need to contact them and ask. Some people receive that sort of statement when they have an occupational pension suddenly being paid.
