Hi Karl, you will need to phone them and ask for the assessment to be recorded. It will mean a change of appointment and they will try to dissuade you but persist as you are within your rights.
I would also record it yourself, just let them know beforehand, you are allowed to do this now.
I used a phone app called voice recorder, it has ads but is free.
