Thank you for all the info' and advice, just received confirmation I have LCWRA. I've been waiting over a week for arrival of my PIP assessor's report so still no idea how that's going yet. Is it likely that my UC decision would influence and help my PIP award, as I'd read they may be aware?
I've had 3 UC payments as my claim (and FIT notes) started 31.10.22, so can I assume the additional LWCRA sum will be added to my 4th payment due 6th March?
I didn't received the cold weather payments and my coach stated that was because my LWCRA wasn't yet confirmed, even though they'd agreed I didn't have to do any activities or job centre reviews at all. Will these now be due, or as they've fallen due in the first 3 months when no extra LWCRA is paid do they also refuse payment after the award? Seems callous that benefits aren't backdated after the award when medical evidence confirms you've been too ill to work.

Congratulations on your LCWRA award. Your LCWRA should be backdated to the 14 week of your assessment phase. Your assessment phase starts when you hand in your 'fit note'. Once your LCWRA is in payment, check the date from when it is paid from, you may be eligible for additional payments.
I cannot answer your question about influence as I am not an assessor.
PIP and LCWRA are different although there are one or two questions which crossover, I would always use one award to help the other application, they do have access to your record, but how often they look is another matter.
