I was awarded PiP and I thank you for all the guides and help here it has been amazing. Worth every penny!
I was awarded standard for both and feel I could have got the higher as a lot of what the assessor says was assumptions about me but I may not be able to provide more evidence. The assesor was ok but the PA4 was lost in the post and I had to wait for another by which time they had made the decision very quickly so I could not challenge the assesment before the decsion (decision was made 10 days after assessment). I was thinking of a mandatory reconsideration but the award is 'ongoing' and I don't want to lose this if the decsion changes as I am pension age September this year. I am hoping ongoing means its for a few years. So I may leave as it is!

Congratulations on your award, yes the guides are well written.
Well done for getting the standard components, have a well deserved rest and re-charge your batteries. There is nothing from stopping you from applying for a mandatory reconsideration after your award is in payment.
Gather all your supporting evidence, make sure that you understand the criteria that you are being assessed against you can put the best case forward that is possible but you won't score points if you do not meet the PIP Descriptors, check our guides for help in planning your MR.
Remember once you are pension age then you will not be able to increase the mobility component, just a thought.
