I am in need of some help. I have applied for pip and esa in December 22. Pip has been completed I have had assessment and I have standard rate daily living needs and enhanced mobility needs.
I had call from job centre on 9th December 22. Completed Assessment paperwork and sent on 10th January.
I have heard nothing so called them on 3rd February to make sure that had paperwork which they advised they had an would pass over to new claims.
I have still heard nothing called today to be told initially my claim had been cancelled due to non receipt of docs. But all my docs had been sent over to them by cust service on 3rd Feb. I had been waiting over an hour to speak to someone. She put me on hold and then hung up on me.
Can someone suggest what I should do now to find out what's happening.
Others may have different suggestions but my thought is that you need to persevere with calling them and also keeping notes of each occasion you call with time and date and, where you do speak to anyone, then note their name.
In addition you should probably back up any calls where you do speak to someone with a written note to DWP confirming your understanding of the call and again document time date and who you spoke to.
I know it’s a pain but I am not aware of any other routes.
Good luck
Pete
