Thank you Gordon - yes that paragraph in Case Law does indeed undo my argument, I agree with you. I am going to focus just on the Preparing Food and Mixing with Others/Engaging Face to Face for my disputes for the MR. I have my MR request letter already drafted on those two activities, so I will complete it now, and send with my fingers crossed. I so hope my MR is successful, I will report back. Thank you to all.

Gordon, I am thinking now regarding communication, whether the fact that I cannot engage face to face to communicate, and basically have to give communication/messages by phone to another person (a communication support ie a friend or relative) to pass my message on to the required recipient - does this count as needing communication support for the communication support descriptors under the communication activity? Or does this class as me managing around my f2f difficulties with communicating because I have been able to express what I want to say in the first place, meaning zero points?

You need to make the arguments that you feel are appropriate to your claim, we are not assessors or Decision Makers and cannot put ourselves in their position.
I think you have a strong case for needing Social Support (Mixing with Others) but I think you will struggle to show a need for Communications Support (Communicating Verbally), not least because the UTT Case we have been looking at did not change the law and therefore the guidance issued by the DWP makes no reference to this case. You might be more successful at an appeal where it can be referred to but I still feel that the paragraph I mentioned in my last post still undoes your case.

Thank you Gordon. MR is done. I had decided not to dispute the communication before I received your reply. I agree with your reply so that is good. I am pretty satisfied with my MR request, the two activities I am disputing I feel the evidence is compelling, so my disputes I feel are compelling too. Let us see what transpires!
