Hi, does anyone know how a support letter from a family member should be worded? Or if there are any templates available? My mother is going to do one for me but is unsure what to write. She knows what my conditions are and how they affect me doing activities. She is unsure if the letter should be brief or a longer letter. She wants to put my conditions and all my symptoms down and how they affect me doing each activity. However this reads the same as I have written on the form and there is no point effectively writing the form out twice. It also looks like I have just told her what to say. Thanks for any help.
Hi WobblyJow, you might take a look at the diary examples in the Guide. They could give you Mum some ideas of wording to use, while changing it from 'I' to 'He', that might read a bit differently. She can actually do a diary about the help she gives you and/or that you need but she can't give you. A diary I did about our daughter seemed to carry a lot of weight - she could not manage to do her own due to her several conditions which showed up clearly in what I wrote. Please don't be discouraged about apparent duplication, the facts are the facts. Best wishes, regards to your Mum, Denby
