Dear moderator, My doctor's letter is a copy of his original (from 5 years ago) but he has put todays date on it since there has been no changes in my mental health condition which he has highlighted by listing the PIP descriptors with a brief summary of each. In the original letter he also says that I take Olanzipine for my mental health and simvastatin for my cholesterol. However, it has occured to me that since his original letter I have been prescribed blood pressure tablets and medication for Rosacea which will be on the prescription list. It is too late now to ask for another letter. Will the DWP still accept his letter?
You don't need to request another letter. Doctors often don't get the medication list right on letters. You will have it on your prescription list, and that's fine. I always get people to send in a copy of their prescription sheet/s that the pharmacist produces - that is a good record because it has the date on it.
