Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
Care Plan was created by David
Hi ,
I am submitting a NHS Care Plan with the PIP review form PIP 1043. The Care Plan is 8 months old. Is that OK? They don't expect me to get a new one in the 2 weeks before the PIP form deadline? Thanks for any help.

Hi Jones1988,
I am sure an 8 month old care plan will be fine, especially if this is still relevant. You may wish to explain the help you get and the care received, making sure this relates to PIP activities.
Good luck with your claim.

Hi Jones1988,
I just want to reassure you that I have submitted care plans that have been 9 and 10 months old. This was for ESA but (as LL26 rightly said) I did still make sure that I still wrote out the difficulties I face, as well as obviously linking to the descriptors. The careplans were referenced in decision notices, so do carry weight.
Best wishes,
Susie

Hi Jones1988
Your care plan should be ok, but check what is written in the care plan will help your claim. I came across a care plan a few weeks ago which I did not think would help with the claim so we did not use it.
