Mine for ESA arrived yesterday. it was the usual nonsensical ESA letter though as once again (as with some previous years) it includes a breakdown of how my ESA is calculated but the breakdown is for the current year and not the new amounts from April. The overall new amount from April is mentioned on page 1 though.
When I was on Income Support / Incapacity Benefit the annual uprating letter used to give a breakdown of how benefit was calculated for the week of uprating (i.e. the new amounts from the April). For some reason the ESA letters usually give a breakdown of how my ESA has been calculated for the last week of the current benefit rates.

Hello Silverstar
My annual ESA rate letter was dated 1 March but arrived Saturday, 11 March 2023. Think it's a bit later than usual.
It's more obscure than ever:
no mention of current rate;
very detailed breakdown of *just one week* (7-13 April);
then new higher rate 14 April onward (with no breakdown whatsoever).
Hope this helps

Hi,
I received the letter regarding the payment rates for 2023/24 but I have not received the letter that states my award ie ESA and DLA. I normally receive this at the end of February or early March as my birthday is in February. Has anyone else not received this particular letter?

Hi Silverstar,
Have you received your DLA and ESA letters yet? I have received the ESA letter but not the DLA letter.

Hi Psinc23, I still haven’t received either DLA or ESA letter yet, I don’t know what to think.
Also thank you everyone for your replies.
